Therapy and Mental Health Support
Online talking therapies for children, young people, adults and families. Which approach is right depends on your needs and on professional assessment — we will help you work that out before anything is booked.
Therapy is not a crisis service
Progressive Recovery Care does not provide an emergency or crisis response. If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111 or attend the nearest emergency department.
Approaches we offer
The appropriate approach depends on your needs and on professional assessment. It is not something you need to decide before getting in touch.
DBT-informed therapy
Draws on dialectical behaviour therapy skills, including emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
Family and systemic therapy
Works with the family or relationship system rather than one person alone.
How the right approach is chosen
You do not need to know which therapy you want before contacting us. The appropriate approach depends on your needs and on professional assessment. A free suitability call is the usual starting point, after which we can explain which approaches may fit and what each involves.
Therapy aims to support you to manage difficulties and build skills. It does not promise a cure or guaranteed improvement, and outcomes vary between people.
