About Progressive Recovery Care
An online neurodiversity and mental health service for children, young people, adults and families across England.
What we do
Progressive Recovery Care provides online assessments, psychiatric care, therapy, medication support and post-diagnosis services. We work with children, young people, adults and families, and our aim is to give clear answers, safe online care and continuing support beyond diagnosis.
We also offer a separate, non-clinical workplace support service for neurodivergent adults, which is not regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
How we work
- Appointments are available online, or in person at our Northampton office.
- We work with people across England.
- Separate pathways for adults and for children and young people.
- Assessment and treatment are separate stages, not the same appointment.
- Support continues after diagnosis, and is available whether or not a diagnosis is given.

Our approach
Progressive Recovery Care exists because too many people wait a long time for a clear answer, and then find the support stops the moment they get one. We set out to do both parts properly: reach an opinion we can explain, and stay involved afterwards.
That shapes how the service is built — how appointments are staged, how findings are explained, and what happens once an assessment is finished.
- A clear answer, in plain language. You should finish an assessment understanding what we found and why, whether or not that includes a diagnosis.
- Assessment and treatment are separate stages. We do not decide treatment in the same appointment as the assessment. A considered decision needs the assessment finished first.
- Support does not stop at diagnosis. Working out what a result means day to day is often the part that helps most, and it is available whether or not a diagnosis is given.
- The people around you matter. With consent, we involve parents, carers and families, because change holds better when the people nearby understand what is going on.
- Strengths, not only difficulties. We look for what already works for someone and build practical strategies around it, alongside addressing what is hard.
- Care that fits around life. Appointments are available online across England, without travel or time away from work or school, or in person at our Northampton office if you would rather be seen face to face.
