Prices are effective in 2026 and subject to periodic review. A diagnostic outcome cannot be guaranteed, and all prescribing and treatment decisions remain subject to clinical assessment.

ADHD Services

Fee: £1,200, including the feedback appointment and the standard diagnostic report. There is no separate report fee for the report included with your assessment.

Additional costs: Any medication, private prescription charges and pharmacy charges are billed separately.

Limitations: An assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis. Treatment is a separate stage.

Payment: Normally due before or at the time of booking. Instalment arrangements may be available for higher-cost diagnostic assessments — ask when you book.

ADHD screening or preliminary assessment: £250

ADHD reassessment or second opinion: from £750

What is included: Screening helps you understand whether ADHD may be relevant to your experiences and what would be useful next. A reassessment or second opinion reviews an existing diagnosis or assessment and gives PRC’s clinical view.

Limitations: Screening is not a diagnostic assessment and does not produce a diagnosis. A second opinion does not automatically confirm a diagnosis made elsewhere.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: [PRC: this service is not itemised in the approved August 2026 price list. Confirm whether it is charged as an ADHD reassessment or second opinion, from £750, as an initial psychiatric assessment at £350, or at its own rate.]

What is included: Review of your existing diagnostic report and relevant records, a clinical consultation, and a written outcome setting out PRC’s view and next steps.

Booking route: Arranged with you after a free suitability and information call.

Additional costs: Any additional assessment that proves necessary is charged separately. Medication and pharmacy charges are separate.

Limitations: A review does not automatically confirm a diagnosis made elsewhere, does not automatically transfer treatment to PRC, and does not guarantee medication.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: £90 per session.

Booking route: Not booked directly online. Arranged after a free suitability and information call.

Therapy and Mental Health Support

All therapy approaches share the same booking route and terms. The right approach depends on your needs and on professional assessment.

SessionLengthPrice
Individual therapy or counselling50 minutes£100
Child or young person therapy50 minutes£110

Couples therapy60 minutes£140

What is included: Sessions with a therapist, online or in person at our Northampton office, agreed goals, work between sessions where relevant, and a plan for maintaining changes once therapy ends.

Booking route: Arranged after a free suitability and information call.

Additional costs: None beyond the session fee.

Limitations: Therapy does not guarantee improvement and is not a cure. It is not a crisis service and does not provide urgent or out-of-hours support.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Booking a block of sessions costs less than booking the same number individually.

PackagePrice
6 individual sessions£570
10 individual sessions£900
6 child or young person sessions£630
10 child or young person sessions£1,000
6-session ADHD coaching programme£500

Limitations: A package is a booking arrangement, not a guarantee of outcome. The number of sessions that will help is a clinical judgement made with you, and you are never required to book a package.

Cancellation: The same terms apply to each session within a package. More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Autism Support

PRC offers two different things for autism, and it is worth being clear which you need. Screening and guidance helps you understand whether autism may be relevant to you and what would help next — it is not a diagnosis. A diagnostic assessment is the full clinical process that reaches a formal conclusion and produces a diagnostic report.

If you are not sure which is right, book a free 15-minute suitability call and we will talk it through before you commit to anything.

Fee: £1,500 for an adult, £1,600 for a child or young person. The fee includes the feedback appointment and the diagnostic report — there is no separate report fee.

Duration: [PRC: appointment length to be confirmed]

What is included: Clinical assessment, relevant questionnaires and supporting information, a feedback appointment and a diagnostic report.

Booking route: Not booked directly online. Arranged with you after a free suitability and information call.

Payment: Normally due before or at the time of booking. Instalment arrangements may be available for higher-cost diagnostic assessments — ask when you book.

Limitations: An assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis. A diagnostic outcome cannot be guaranteed, and any support or treatment that follows is arranged separately.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: £2,400 for an adult, £2,600 for a child or young person, covering both assessments, the feedback appointment and the diagnostic report.

Assessed together this costs less than booking an ADHD and an autism assessment separately, and it avoids repeating the same background twice.

What is included: Clinical assessment for both, relevant questionnaires and supporting information, a feedback appointment and a diagnostic report.

Booking route: Arranged with you after a free suitability and information call, which is where we would talk through whether assessing both is the right choice for you.

Limitations: An assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis of either condition, or of both.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: £300.

What is included: A structured appointment, online or in person at our Northampton office, use of recognised screening tools where appropriate, an explanation of what screening does and does not tell you, and written guidance on next steps.

Booking route: Arranged after a free suitability and information call.

Limitations: Screening is not diagnosis. It does not produce a formal autism diagnosis. It is a lower-cost way to work out whether a full diagnostic assessment is the right next step, and PRC offers that assessment separately.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Autism reassessment or second opinion: from £900.

What is included: Review of an existing autism assessment or diagnosis, a clinical consultation, and a written outcome setting out PRC’s view.

Limitations: A second opinion does not automatically confirm or overturn a diagnosis made elsewhere.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointment with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: £90 per session.

What is included: Sessions covering understanding your diagnosis, sensory needs, routines, communication, managing change, and strategies for school, study or work.

Booking route: Arranged after a free suitability and information call.

Additional costs: None beyond the session fee.

Limitations: This is a support service. It does not provide or revise a diagnosis.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Fee: £90 for a psychoeducation session, or £100 for a 50-minute parent or carer support session.

What is included: Psychoeducation and practical guidance for parents, carers and families, including sensory needs at home, communication, transitions and working with schools.

Booking route: Arranged after a free suitability and information call.

Limitations: This supports you as a parent or carer. It does not itself provide an autism diagnosis for the person you care for — that is a separate assessment.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee.

Non-clinical service

Neuroaffirming Workplace Support

Workplace support is quoted individually rather than sold at a fixed list price, because scope varies by organisation and by award. This is a non-clinical workplace coaching and support service. It does not provide diagnosis, medical treatment, psychotherapy, medication advice or emergency mental health support. This service is not regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Progressive Recovery Care’s separately identified clinical assessment and treatment services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Fee: Quoted individually. Workplace support is scoped and quoted for each organisation or individual rather than sold at a fixed list price, because the scope varies. You receive a written quotation before anything is agreed.

Published rates that may apply: a workplace, school or university support report is £175, and a workplace or reasonable adjustment consultation is £150. Anything beyond that is quoted.

What is included: Structured coaching sessions covering focus, organisation, workload, communication with managers, managing energy and sensory demands, and identifying reasonable adjustments.

Booking route: Enquiry, then a discovery call, then a written quotation. Not available for direct paid booking online.

Additional costs: None beyond the quoted scope.

Limitations: PRC cannot guarantee that Access to Work will make an award or that an award will cover PRC services. That decision rests with the scheme.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee. Where a written quotation sets out different terms, the quotation applies.

Fee: Quoted individually according to scope. You receive a written quotation before anything is agreed.

Published rates that may apply: a school, SEN, workplace or reasonable adjustment consultation is £150, a workplace, school or university support report is £175, and a professional case conference of up to 60 minutes is £175.

What is included: Non-clinical guidance for managers, HR teams and employers, covering supportive conversations, reasonable adjustments, and reviewing processes and working patterns. Group briefings where agreed in advance.

Booking route: Contact PRC to discuss scope and receive a quotation.

Additional costs: None beyond the quoted scope.

Limitations: This service does not assess, diagnose or treat any employee and does not replace occupational health, legal advice or your own HR processes.

Cancellation: More than 48 hours’ notice, no charge. Less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee. Missed session with no notice, 100% of the fee. Where a written quotation sets out different terms, the quotation applies.

Costs that sit outside PRC appointment fees

If your GP does not accept a shared-care arrangement, prescription, review and monitoring costs continue privately for as long as you remain on medication. GP shared-care acceptance cannot be guaranteed.

Payment, instalments and cancellation

Payment

Payment is normally due before or at the time of booking. Instalment arrangements may be available for higher-cost diagnostic assessments — ask when you book and PRC will tell you what is possible.

Separate contractual rates may apply to NHS bodies, local authorities, schools, employers, insurers and other commissioning organisations. Contact PRC directly to discuss organisational rates.
