Autism Diagnostic Assessment
A full online autism assessment for adults, children and young people, ending in a feedback appointment and a written diagnostic report.
What the assessment includes
The fee covers the whole process, not just the appointment:
- The clinical assessment itself, online with a clinician.
- Relevant questionnaires and supporting information, which may include information from people who know you well, or from school where the assessment is for a child or young person.
- A feedback appointment to talk through the outcome and what it means.
- A written diagnostic report. There is no separate report fee for the standard report included with your assessment.

If you think both ADHD and autism may be relevant, assessing them together costs less than booking two separate assessments, and means you do not go through the same background twice.
Payment is normally due before or at the time of booking. Instalment arrangements may be available for higher-cost diagnostic assessments — ask when you book.

What an assessment can and cannot tell you
An assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis. The outcome is a clinical judgement, and it may be that autism is not the right explanation for what you are experiencing. That is a legitimate and useful result, and the report will still set out what was found and what would help.
Any support or treatment that follows is arranged separately and is not included in the assessment fee. Post-diagnosis support is available whether or not a diagnosis is made.

Screening is a sensible first step if you are unsure, but it is not required. If you already know you want a diagnostic assessment, you can go straight to it.
