Terms and Conditions

The terms on which Progressive Recovery Care provides its services, and what you and PRC each agree to.

DRAFT — NOT APPROVED. Requires legal review before publication.

These terms were drafted for review by PRC’s legal adviser. They contain suggested contractual positions that PRC has not agreed. The liability, cancellation and eligibility clauses in particular must be settled by a solicitor — they are the clauses most likely to be relied on if something goes wrong. Items marked [DRAFTED — CONFIRM] need a decision from PRC.

1. Who we are

Progressive Recovery Care (PRC) Group LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 15768666. Registered office and appointment address: Unit F28, Moulton Park Business Centre, Redhouse Road, Northampton, NN3 6AQ. In-person appointments take place here, by arrangement only. Registered with the Care Quality Commission, provider ID 1-24593064011.

In these terms, “PRC”, “we” and “us” mean Progressive Recovery Care (PRC) Group LTD. “You” means the person receiving a service, or the parent or guardian arranging it.

2. Our services

PRC provides services to people aged 4 to 65 who are located in England. This is PRC’s stated scope in its own approved documents — the Complaints and Compliments Policy, the Confidentiality Policy, the Safeguarding Adults and Children Policy and the PSIRF Plan all record the same range.

If you fall outside that range, PRC will tell you on the free suitability call and, where it can, point you towards a service that is a better fit.

3. Booking and confirmation

4. What PRC does not promise

These are clinical realities, not small print:

5. Your responsibilities

6. Fees, cancellation and records

Fees are set out on the Prices page. Medication, private prescription charges and pharmacy charges are separate from PRC appointment fees. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. How PRC handles your information is set out in the Privacy Notice and the Consent and Confidentiality page.

Payment is normally due before or at the time of booking. Instalment arrangements may be available for higher-cost diagnostic assessments; where one is agreed, the payment dates form part of that agreement. Where payment is outstanding at the time of the appointment, PRC may treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation terms.

Separate contractual rates and payment terms may apply to NHS bodies, local authorities, schools, employers, insurers and other commissioning organisations, and are set out in the written agreement with that organisation.

PRC must supply: the payment processor, once selected, and confirmation of which payment methods are accepted. None is configured at the time of writing, so no payment method is stated here. PRC does not store card details.

7. Liability

What is never limited

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes PRC’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these terms.

The standard PRC works to

PRC provides its services with reasonable care and skill, by clinicians registered with the appropriate professional body for their role, and in line with PRC’s registration with the Care Quality Commission.

What PRC does not promise

Clinical work deals in judgement, not certainty. PRC does not guarantee:

  • that an assessment will result in a diagnosis;
  • that therapy will produce a particular outcome or improvement;
  • that medication will be offered — it is prescribed only where it is clinically appropriate;
  • that a GP practice will accept a shared-care arrangement;
  • that Access to Work, an insurer or an employer will fund or accept PRC’s services.

These are clinical and third-party decisions. Where PRC cannot help, it will say so and, where it can, point you towards a service that can.

PRC is not an emergency service

PRC does not provide an emergency, crisis or out-of-hours response, and is not a substitute for one. If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111 or attend the nearest emergency department.

Third parties

PRC is not responsible for the acts, omissions or decisions of a third party, including a GP practice, a pharmacy, a school, an employer, an insurer or the Access to Work scheme, or for any delay or refusal on their part.

Online and in-person delivery

Where an appointment is delivered online, it depends in part on your own internet connection, device and surroundings, and PRC is not liable for interruption caused by those. Where an appointment cannot go ahead because of a failure on PRC’s side — including its own platform — PRC will rearrange it at no additional charge, and no cancellation charge applies.

In-person appointments take place at PRC’s appointment address, Unit F28, Moulton Park Business Centre, Redhouse Road, Northampton NN3 6AQ, and are by arrangement only. Please arrive only for a booked appointment. If you cannot attend in person, contact PRC as early as possible so the appointment can be rearranged or moved online; the cancellation terms above apply in the same way.

Limits that do apply

Subject to “What is never limited” above, PRC is not liable for loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss; and PRC’s total liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees paid for that service.

Where the client is an organisation rather than an individual — an employer, school, local authority, insurer or other commissioning body — liability is as set out in the written agreement with that organisation, which takes precedence over this page.

8. Complaints, changes and governing law

If you are unhappy with any part of PRC’s service, please use our Complaints Procedure. PRC acknowledges complaints within 3 working days and aims to respond in writing within 20 working days.

PRC may update these terms. The version that applies to your care is the one in force when your booking was confirmed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Version 1.0, effective from the date this website goes live. To be reviewed annually, or sooner following any change to PRC’s services, pricing or CQC registration.
